A white and lemon yellow gingham cotton handloom. Merchant and Mills Indian handlooms are delicate and lightweight, so perfect for Summer sewing. They can be used for scarves, tops or dresses with some fullness. You can also use them for patchwork or home projects like semi sheer curtains.

• 2.7oz, 93gsm.
• 118cm wide.
• 100% cotton.
• Indian handlooms are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave due to their handmade nature, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
• As all computer monitors show colours differently, we recommend ordering a sample of the cloth to check it is the right colour and weight for your project.

We sell our online fabrics in half metre increments, so if you would like a metre add 2 to your basket, if you'd like 1.5 metres add 3 to your basket and so on. All orders will be cut as a continuous length.
